Construction of New Oil Exportation Pipeline from Baiji to Fishkhabor

The spokesman of the ministry of oil declares for the construction of oil exportation pipeline by the ministry of oil extends from Baiji district in Salahuddeen governorate to Fishkhabor borderline district.

Mr. Assim Jihad the spokesman of the ministry of oil said that, the minister of oil Mr. Jabbar Ali Al-Luiebi has gave the order to the concerned companies and authorities in the ministry to prepare the necessary documents of the new pipeline which will be executed according to (B.O.T) investment method. In order to extend the pipeline from Baiji to Fishkhabor, and transport the crude oil from Kirkuk oil fields to Ceyhan port in Turkey. The specialized companies will be invited for this purpose in the near future.

Mr. Jihad said that the old pipeline was damaged severely because of the continuous sabotages and the violations on it by the terrorist gangs of ISIS. So that it became necessary to rehabilitate it and bring it back to service to be a substitute for the old pipeline.
