The cabinet has entrusted Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker with commissioning head of the Egyptian nuclear and Radiological regulatory Authority (ENRRA) to sign the fifth contract of extending financial and technical support offered by the Russian side to carry out Al Dabaa nuclear project.

The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting under Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.

The cabinet also approved a presidential decree on allocating 24.2 feddans from the state-owned lands in Rashid area, Beheira governorate, for the Egyptian-General Petroleum Corporation to be used for establishing oil projects.

The decision was taken within the framework of the state's keenness on encouraging investments and removing obstacles facing oil companies to allow the companies to change their capital to any foreign currency.
