Worley has been awarded a contract by BP for hook-up and commissioning integration services for BPs Mad Dog 2 project and the Argos deep-water platform in the Gulf of Mexico. Argos will be BPs newest floating production unit (FPU). It is planned to be commissioned in 2021.

Under the contract, Worley will prepare for arrival of the FPU in the Gulf of Mexico and complete final systems commissioning in Texas, offshore hook-up at the Mad Dog field and handover of the platform to BPs Global Operations Organization.

'Worley is looking forward to supporting BPs North American strategy through the integration of this new asset into BPs production fleet in the Gulf of Mexico,' said Andrew Wood, Chief Executive Officer of Worley.
