Hunt Oil Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary Senegal Hunt Oil
Company, signed an Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement today with the
Republic of Senegal and Petrosen (Petroleum Company of Senegal). The agreement
gives Hunt the exclusive right to carry out petroleum exploration and production
operations in Sangomar – Rufisque Offshore Area of Senegal.
The Agreement covers approximately 14,981 square kilometers (approximately
3,701,805 square acres) in the Sangomar – Rufisque Offshore Area.
Senegal Hunt Oil Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hunt Oil Company, a
privately held independent oil and gas firm based in Dallas, Texas, led by Ray L. Hunt.
