PETROJET won two important projects in Libya and Saudi Arabia

Cairo, 5 October 2004- PETROJET has been awarded a 99 million Euro contract to design and construct a crude oil pipeline in Libya. The 30” diameter, 750 km long pipeline will transport crude oil from El Pheel field south Libya to Malita port on the Mediterranean west Tripoli.

The pipeline will increase the Libyan crude oil export capacity from 25,000 b/d to 100,000 b/d. Work is expected to start in November 2004. PETROJET scope of work includes all civil, mechanical and inspection works.

PETROJET also had been awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco to fabricate and install a shipping yard for petroleum products in Dabba at Saudi Arabia.
