New HEC-P2000 Series of Controllers

Divelbiss Corporaon, serving the electronics and industrial control industry since 1974, announces the introduction of the HEC-P2000 Family of IoT enabled controllers, offering powerful featured control capability in the harshest of environments. Programmed using the FREE Divelbiss EZ Ladder Toolkit in Ladder Diagram, Funcon Block, and Structured Text, and based on P-Series PLC on a Chip™ technology, the HEC-P2000 family provides maximum flexibility for controlling mobile equipment, communicant with various serial bus protocols, logging system data, or adding Internet of Things (IoT) capability to exisng systems.

Featuring a sealed NEMA 4 enclosure that is designed for the harsh duty commonly found in mobile environments, the HEC-P2000 family of controllers have an I/O count with 8 digital inputs, 3 high speed counter inputs, a quadrature encoder interface and 8 digital outputs rated for 2A each (of which all are PWM capable). If addional I/O is required, the CAN and serial ports may be ulized to communicate to expansion I/O. The controllers feature two serial ports (one RS232 and one RS485) which supports MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocols as either a Master or a Slave device.

The serial ports are also directly programmable via the Structured Text programming language, allowing the implementaon of custom protocols, which makes them ideal for communicang to bar code scanners, RFID readers, or other serial devices.

The CAN port fully supports the SAE J1939 and NMEA2000 protocols. The HEC-P2000 family has cellular capable models for communicang with the Cloud Portal Soluons. A plug-in GPS module is available for connecon to the serial port (R232) for global posioning and me syncing of the on-board Real Time Clock.

For application that require data logging, the HEC-P2000 family supports an internal SD card. This feature gives the user flexibility and options for implement data logging with me stamps to the SD Card. When ulized with the Cloud Portal Soluons, the HEC-P2000 family can communicate data to the cloud, where it is date/me stamped and stored in the Cloud database for later viewing, analysis, and export. The HEC-P2000 family supports COAP and MQTT Cloud Portal Soluon protocols. The HEC-P2000 family controllers support supply voltages from 9-32VDC and have a wide operang temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, making it suitable for use in applicaons with extreme environmental requirements.

The HEC-P2000 family gives the user the ability to provide machine control, data logging and IoT Connectivity to virtually any applicaon in the mobile, industrial, environmental, agricultural, construction, and other markets. As a part of a Cloud Portal Solution, the HEC-P2000 family controller provides a powerful, flexible system to enable remote control and communication.
