U.S. Assistant Secretary for Energy Resources Visits Energean Onshore Facilities

Energean plc is happy and proud to have hosted at its onshore facilities at Nea Karvali, Kavala, Mr. Francis Fannon, U.S. Assistant Secretary for Energy Resources, and Mr. Kostas Fragogiannis, Greece's Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with officials from the U.S. Embassy in Athens , the U.S. Consulate General of Thessaloniki and the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Our distinguished guests were introduced to Energean's safety procedures and informed about Greece's sole hydrocarbon producing assets. Energean's project regarding the conversion of the almost depleted South Kavala natural gas field into Underground Gas Storage has also been in focus.

Energean Commercial Director Mr. Nick Witney, HSE Director Mr. Vassilis Tsetoglou and Energean Kavala Installations Manager Mr. Costas Ioannides detailed Energean's plan, which provides for a UGS with a capacity of 1 BCM and a maximum deliverability of 9 MCM/day.
