Total Technology Results, a leading reverse logistics and Internet Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD) provider, announced it has completed the acquisition of long-time partner company Emplacement, an e-waste location software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. As a result of the acquisition, Emplacement’s software will become a key offering in Total Technology’s portfolio.
Emplacement software offerings act as the missing key in hardware vendors’ ability to maintain relationships with their customers through the end of a technology device’s lifecycle. Total Technology can now offer the ability to incentivize brand loyalty to hardware manufacturers through purchase discount and trade-in programs.
Emplacement software offerings are part of a much larger digital transformation strategy at Total Technology. “This acquisition enables us to accelerate our focus on helping service providers and succeed in the device as a service and software as a service, cloud-first economy,” said Total Technology Founder and CEO, Michael Taghavi.
