Director of phase 14, Mohammad Mehdi Tavasolipour, referred to the necessity to increase storage capacity of gas condensate in South Pars saying that preparation of storing unit (unit 143) was implemented in the form of an agent plan. Now the first tank is storing and the second one is ready to receive the product, public relations reported.
Each tank is capable to receive 375000 barrels of gas condensate. As scheduled and with the concerted effort of contractors of the consortium, the third and fourth tanks will be prepared to receive the product by Mid-January and Mid-February respectively.
According to Tavasolipour, offshore facilities of phase 14 has ended in 2019 and it is extracting 2 billion cubic feet of rich gas from the giant reservoir. Onshore refinery of this project will come to operation by next year.
