Second SPM Was Successfully Installed In the Region of Pars 2

The second SPM, with loading capacity of 7000 of gas condensate, was successfully installed by installer vessel called C-Master in the region of Pars 2, public relations of POGC reported.

The produced gas condensate from refineries of Pars 2, including phases 12, 13, 19, 22-24, has already been transferred by a common metering to the first SPM of phase 12. Now the second SPM is connected to the same metering through a 36-inch pipeline with the length of 6.8 km.

The connecting pipeline has been implemented in two parts. First the shore-pulling operation was completed with the length of 1.3km. Then the pipe was laid within 4 days by C-Master.

The construction and installation of the mentioned SPM was embedded in the contract description of phase 19 to enhance loading capacity of gas condensate produced from the refineries of Pars 2.
