Transneft Upper Volga has summed up the technical upgrading, revamping and overhaul programme implementation results for 2020.
Last year, after the revamping, 131 km of oil trunk pipelines and petroleum products pipelines, including underwater crossings, were commissioned. The goal of the work conducted was to increase reliability and ensure uninterrupted transportation of oil and petroleum products. In total, 17 facilities of the line were revamped.
The main scope of work was carried out at sections of the Novki – Ryazan, the Ryazan – Moscow petroleum products trunk pipelines and the Surgut – Polotsk, the Almetyevsk – Gorky-3, the Yaroslavl – Moscow oil pipelines, the Ring Petroleum Products Trunk Pipeline around Moscow. The works were carried out on the territories of Ryazan, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow Regions and the Republic of Mari El.
In 2020, more than 25 km of overhead electric power transmission lines were built to service trunk pipelines, 4 units of cleaning and diagnostics system, 9 control and monitoring stations’ enclosures were commissioned.
Transneft Upper Volga continued work under the energy efficiency improvement programme for operating facilities. 3 mainline pumps were replaced at the Makaryevo oil pumping station (PS). The new equipment is characterised by improved technical properties, increased efficiency and extended overhaul interval. The conducted measures will improve energy efficiency, industrial and environmental safety of the operating facilities.
In addition, the technical upgrading of the administrative building at the Vorotynets LODS was carried out, buildings and structures of the Mari El Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate and the Zalesye PS were overhauled.
The set of technical measures was carried out in strict accordance with regulatory rules and requirements of the Russian Federation.
