ConocoPhillips – Follow-up of Vessels with Emergency Response Functions

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (Copsas)’s follow-up of vessels with emergency response functions.

The audit was conducted on 7 and 8 December 2020.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify how the operator stipulates and ensures the emergency response functions provided by vessels. Among other things, we wanted to examine the operator’s and provider’s (shipowner’s) systematic approach for ensuring proper handling of hazard and accident situations.

Result
No non-conformities or improvement points were identified during this audit.
