Deputy General Director of PJSC TATNEFT - Chief Geologist Rais Khisamov decided to retire.
Rais Salikhovich Khisamov's 48 years of work are associated with the oil industry. In TATNEFT, he worked his way up from an oil and gas production operator to the Chief Geologist - Deputy General Director of PJSC TATNEFT, to whom he was appointed in 1997.
Rais Salikhovich Khisamov made a significant contribution to the stabilization of oil production at the Company's fields in Tatarstan in the difficult 90s of the twentieth century, to the formation of the basis for the growth of production laid down in the Strategy of TATNEFT Group, to the introduction of advanced technologies for the development of oil and gas fields using methods of increasing oil recovery, entry of TATNEFT Group into new regions.
Rais Khisamov is a doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, a professor, awarded the Orders of Honor, Friendship, the Order of the Republic of Tatarstan «Duslyk», he was awarded the honorary titles «Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry of the Russian Federation» and «Honored Geologist of the Republic of Tatarstan».
Despite the decision of Rais Khisamov to retire and leave the managerial position in the Company, he will continue his work as a member of the Board of Directors of PJSC TATNEFT.
After decision of Rais Khisamov General Director of the Company N.U. Maganov said: “Rais Salikhovich is an outstanding oilman and geologist who has done a lot for Tatneft, the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia, has trained new generations of geologists and managers of the Company. Energy, dedication and constant striving for improvement, responsible attitude to the work of Rais Khisamov became part of Tatneft's DNA, and we are grateful to him for this. We are, of course, sorry that he decided to leave the Company, but we will continue to rely on his experience and knowledge as a member of the Board of Directors of Tatneft. We are confident that the personnel potential formed with the direct participation of Rais Khisamov will allow us to successfully develop the areas for which he was responsible in the TATNEFT Group”.
Albert Petrovich Bachkov, Head of the Department for Geology of Oil and Gas Fields, has been appointed to perform the duties of the Chief Geologist of the Company.
