Engineering Studies Reached 86% at Polypropylene Production Project in Arzew

The rate of progress of engineering studies for the petrochemical polypropylene production project to be installed in the industrial zone of Arzew (Oran) has reached 86%, a statement from the SONATRACH Group.

“As part of monitoring the implementation of projects launched by his group for the modernization of operations, resource management and project implementation, the CEO of SONATRACH, Toufik Hakkar, made an inspection visit to the workshops. supervising the launch of the integrated information system and HR transformation systems in the wilaya of Oran ”, specifies SONATRACH in a press release posted on its Facebook page.

Nearly 250 executives took part in the first project and 280 others in the second, who constitute “the elite of the group”, the statement added.

On this occasion, Mr. Hakkar inquired about the progress of the engineering studies of the petrochemical project for the production of polypropylene to be established at the level of the industrial zone of Arzew and whose rate of progress has reached 86%.
