Weihai Jinling and Eastern Pacific Shipping Company ("EPS"), the shipowner of Singapore, signed a contract for the construction of 4+2 7000-car dual-fuel vehicle ro-ro ships in the form of a video "cloud contract". EPS CEO Cyril Ducau, Deputy General Manager Wu Sichuan of China Merchants Industry, and Weihai Jinling Party Secretary and General Manager Mei Zhonghua signed the contract on behalf of each party.
Wu Sichuan expressed his gratitude to the EPS project team for cooperating with China Merchants Industry again, welcomed the guests who participated in the signing ceremony, congratulated the signing of the project, and looked forward to the shipowners' visits to China Merchants Industry Shenzhen, Nanjing, and Shenzhen as the epidemic prevention and control improved. Weihai Company will further strengthen communication and cooperation, and China Merchants Industry will deliver high-quality ships on schedule.
Mei Zhonghua said that Weihai Jinling, as a member of China Merchants Industry, is promoting the transformation and upgrading of "building and repairing simultaneously", making better and stronger high-end passenger ships and special engineering ships, and steadily developing the ship and offshore repair and modification business; after the project is signed, it will work together. Shipowners, design institutes, classification societies and other parties work together to ensure high-quality delivery on time, and at the same time achieve a win-win cooperation with EPS.
The PCTC project is another milestone product in the company's transformation and upgrading process. After the contract is signed, the company will further enhance the company's order-taking ability and visibility in the high-end ro-ro ship/ro-ro passenger ship market.

EPS-7000CEU dual-fuel vehicle ro-ro series ship is 199.9 meters long, 38 meters wide, has a design draft of 8.6 meters, a gross tonnage of 72,000 tons, a design speed of 19.5 knots, and a total of 12 cargo decks. It uses high-pressure dual-fuel main engines and is equipped with two A 2000 cubic meter LNG storage tank meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization's TIER III emission standard and has the characteristics and advantages of economy, environmental protection, safety and efficiency.
