Tek- Ocean Secures Additional Bass Strat Work

Key Highlights
• TEK-Ocean invited by one of its major clients to provide additional services in the Bass Strait during November and December 2021 utilising the newly recertified TEK-Ocean Spirit
• The TEK-Ocean Spirit is currently finalising its statutory 5-year recertification activities
• A new 60T working capacity crane is to be commissioned for the TEK-Ocean Spirit to assist with proposed offshore decommissioning activities and other future marine logistics engagements

TEK-Ocean Group Limited, is pleased to report the award of further new work mandated in addition to existing ongoing contracts with one of its major clients which is a significant participant within the Bass Strait energy fields.

As part of its ongoing workflow, TEK maintains multiple valuable relationships and agreements with leading energy companies that regularly provide additional contracts to the Company as a result of the regard and reliance on TEK’s comprehensive service suite and reliability in the region’s marine services industry. This recent additional work secured by TEK involves providing cargo and standby services utilising the TEKOcean Spirit for one of its existing major clients in operating the Bass Strait.

The initial work scope is estimated to be up to one month in duration, including other support services commencing around the middle of November 2021.

TEK will support the additional provision of services and assets through a pre-existing logistics and shore base contract, providing an end-to-end service for its client.

TEK is currently nearing completion of the 5-year vessel recertification for the TEK-Ocean Spirit which will be followed by the commissioning of a new vessel mounted offshore crane within the few weeks. The new 60T crane will enable additional scopes of work to be carried out by the TEK-Ocean Spirit including the proposed contract to install an artificial environmentally enhancing reef offshore Port Phillip Bay, Victoria.
