The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Aker BPs follow-up of load-bearing structures and maritime systems for the facilities at Valhall, Ula, Ivar Aasen, Alvheim, Skarv, Tambar and Hod. The audit was conducted on 23-24 February 2022.

The objective of the audit was to verify that the integrity of structures and maritime systems is safeguarded in accordance with the requirements of the HSE regulations.

One non-conformity concerning safety of a main load-bearing structural element was identified.

An improvement point was also identified concerning monitoring of the technical condition of grout compounds.

What happens next?
