Petro Rio S.A. announces that it has received correspondence from Squadra Investimentos – Gesto de Recursos Ltda. and Squadra Investments – Gesto de Recursos Ltda. ("Investors") informing the Company that they are holders of a total of 42,365,203 common shares issued by the Company, equivalent to 4,80 percent of PetroRio's share count, in accordance with CVM Instruction 44/21. The referred holdings are made up of I 36,915,203 Company common shares and (ii) 5,450,000 Company common shares referenced in physical settlement derivatives. The Investors also are holders of short economic exposure through physical settlement derivative instruments referenced at 9,000,000 common shares issued by the Company and state that, of the total informed above, 2,161,099 common shares were lent out. Finally, the Investors state that they do not aim to change the composition of the Company's control or its management structure.
