Due to the significance of this in sustaining and boosting national output, the oil minister reaffirmed the ministry's eagerness to improve chances for collaboration with local and foreign service firms that serve the local upstream sector.
This occurred at H.E.'s meeting with Sarah Akbar, CEO of (Oil SERV).
The Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, stressed the necessity of the oil companies commitment to implement their projects and obligations in accordance with the best international standards in the oil industry and within the timely agreed schedule,
as well as respecting its contracts with the Ministry of Oil, which represents the federal government, with the aim of achieving a true partnership that serves common interests.
On her part, Mrs. Sarah Akbar, CEO of OIL SERV, praised the ministry cooperation and support for the work of oil services companies, noting that OIL SERV supports the ministry projects in the sectors of well drilling, well maintenance, surveys inside the well, wellhead maintenance, and production maintenance.
Akbar confirmed that her company is implementing many projects inside and outside Iraq.
