Sembcorp Marine Ltd (“SCM” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce that SES Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd (“SESE”) has, on its voluntary application to the Registrar of Companies of Malaysia, been struck off from the register of companies.
SESE is a dormant indirect wholly owned subsidiary of SCM. The striking-off of SESE is not expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share and net tangible assets per share of the Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2022.
None of the directors or controlling shareholders of SCM have any interest, direct or indirect, in the aforesaid striking-off other than through their shareholdings (if any) in SCM.
