Libya’s largest gas field, "Alfaragh" began on Saturday July 23, 2022, the process of gas pumping to the Electrical sarir station.

The Alfaragh field is one of Waha Oil Company’s fields and is located 60 km southwest of the Jalu field.

This process will contribute to reducing the hours of electricity cut-off as the Electrical sarir station enters the electricity network.

This comes at a time that crude oil production is approaching one million barrels per day with the continuation of work to reach one million and two hundred thousand barrels over the next few period.
