On July 3, the 62,000-DWT professional pulp carrier M.V. COSCO SHIPPING SINCERE, newly operated by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers for the service, successfully arrived at the Port of Punta Pereira in Uruguay. Based upon sound cooperation in the past and after witnessing the professional, efficient service provided by the vessel this time, the customer offered to renew the COA contract with COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers.
As a member of the latest generation of 62,000-DWT multi-purpose professional pulp fleet operated by the company, the vessel has six cargo holds with a capacity of approximately 72,500 cubic meters each, and all cargo holds have adopted a box structure that goes straight up and down, which is highly suitable for pulp transportation. The ship hatch is designed for better airtightness, and the cargo holds are equipped with a special dehumidification system to meet the requirements of pulp dehumidification and ensure the quality of pulp transportation. The ship is also furnished with two 100-ton single-arm cranes and one 75-ton × 2 double-arm crane, with the maximum lifting weight up to 150 tons, which enables the ship to carry not only pulp but also other heavy cargoes.
