The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has given Equinor Energy (Equinor) consent to use the Floatel Superior mobile accommodation facility at Grane for an extended period.

Other information: Consent includes the use of Floatel Superior as residential unit during the Breidablikk modifications on the Grane platform. Floatel Superior will be connected to Grane with a telescopic gangway during the planned activity.
Grane
Grane is a field in the central part of the North Sea, just east of the Balder field. The water depth is 128 metres. Grane was discovered in 1991, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2000. The field has been developed with an integrated accommodation, drilling and processing facility with a steel jacket. The facility has 40 well slots. Production started in 2003.
