The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the progress of additional gas infrastructure expansion in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, namely the efforts for bringing pipeline gas to the boundaries of household plots at no cost to the population within cities and rural settlements already covered by the gas grid.
It was highlighted that as of today consumers have signed 655,000 contracts with the Single operator of gas infrastructure expansion (SO, Gazprom Gazifikatsiya) and regional gas infrastructure expansion operators. As many as 58 per cent of them have already been performed: gas pipelines have been laid to the boundaries of 380,000 households.
Most of the contracts performed – about 80 per cent – are those undertaken by the gas distribution entities (GDEs) of the Gazprom Group, which keep working at the vigorous pace they have developed. Solely in October they executed 43,500 contracts, which is a 1.6-fold increase from the average of this summer.
The SO ensures timely funding to cover the economically justified expenditures of GDEs, including independent ones, and regional gas infrastructure expansion operators.
Collection of applications for additional gas grid expansion continues. Russian residents can choose from several convenient ways of applying for this service: they can file their applications either remotely via the SO website (https://connectgas.ru/) or the Public Services Portal, or in person via multifunctional centers and client centers of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Group. The SO contact center operators advise citizens daily at the telephone number 8-800-101-00-04.
Special attention was paid to implementing new instructions regarding additional gas grid expansion issued by Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. It was noted that the Company has already submitted to the Government of the Russian Federation proposals on providing the technical possibility of gas grid connections for the boiler houses of medical facilities and educational entities within localities already covered by the gas grid.
The relevant units of Gazprom and its subsidiaries were tasked with continuing the work on additional gas grid expansion in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
