Japan’s crude oil imports declined by 140K b/d m-o-m and 230K b/d y-o-y to 2.58M b/d in November, falling for the third consecutive month to the lowest level since June, according to data from the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry (METI). Shipments from the Middle East Gulf decreased by 120K b/d m-o-m to 2.46M b/d, accounting for 95% of the overall figure, while imports from Central and South America rose by 50K b/d m-o-m to 70K b/d.
