Equinor – Gudrun – Audit of Helideck

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of the management and operation of the helideck at Gudrun.

The audit was carried out between 7 and 9 November 2022, and was conducted with the assistance of the Civil Aviation Authority Norway.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the helideck on Gudrun complies with the regulatory requirements so as to contribute to safe helicopter operations and transport of personnel. The objective was also to verify the design and outfitting of the helideck on the Gudrun facility, and systems and documents relating to preparations for and operation of the helideck.

Result
The audit identified 10 non-conformities/observations. These can be found in a separate non-conformity list from CAA Norway, under attachments on this page.

We have given the company a deadline for replying to this letter of 16 February 2023.
