The president of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), Aurelio Martínez, and the president of the Port Authority of Castellón, Rafa Simó, held a meeting this week where they highlighted the excellent relations between the two institutions and exchanged experiences in strategic actions for both port areas. The meeting was also attended by the general director of Valenciaport, Francesc Sánchez, and the director of PortCastelló, José María Gómez.
After the meeting, they visited the facilities of the Valencian precinct. Specifically, they toured the northern extension, which was inaugurated in 2012, where the new container terminal will be located, and the hammer area in the southern counterdike to see the loading and unloading operations of the terminals.
