The board of Hynion AS ("Hynion" or the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") has appointed Slavica Djuric as acting interim CEO of Hynion AS as of today. During Slavica Djuric interim period as CEO, she will remain as CEO of the Company's subsidiary Hynion Sverige AB and head of Investor Relations. The Company has initiated the recruitment process for a new permanent CEO.

Slavica Djuric succeeds Ulf Hafseld, who leaves his position with immediate effect, but will be at the board's disposal during the notice period. The board will call an extraordinary general meeting as soon as possible to decide on changes to the board.

The appointment of a new CEO for Hynion AS is part of a larger strengthening within the Group, prompted by the fact that Hynion Sverige AB received partial financing of significant projects within Sweden's hydrogen infrastructure. This requires a considerable effort by Hynion Sweden.

"It is gratifying that Hynion Sweden has received such substantial funding grants to build hydrogen filling stations. It is now time to take the next step in the company's development and seriously participate in the building of the hydrogen infrastructure," says the chairman of the board, Lars Amnell.

"I look forward to starting the expansion of the company on the Swedish market and to implementing the exciting projects that lie ahead," says Slavica Djuric.

"We want to thank Ulf for his efforts for the company during its build-up and establishment in the Scandinavian market, and we are now ready to focus on the future, produce and establish our products as well as develop Hynion and the employees to reach its full potential", continues Lars Amnell.

During the past six months, Hynion Sweden has received partial financing for two significant hydrogen projects:
- Two large hydrogen filling stations financed to 100% by the Swedish Energy Agency
- Two large hydrogen filling stations financed to 30% by the EU
With these projects, Hynion Sweden will increase its presence in the Swedish hydrogen infrastructure and have the opportunity to increase its hydrogen sales to profitable volumes.

Hynion Sweden will recruit a number of specialists for various positions linked to the implementation of the above projects.
