Kuwait Minister of Oil Participates in the Meetings of (JMMC)

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil, Dr. Bader Al-Mulla, headed the delegation of the State of Kuwait participating in the forty-seventh meeting of the Joint Ministerial Production Monitoring Committee (JMMC), which was held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The delegation included the Governor of the State of Kuwait to OPEC, Mr. Muhammad Al-Shatti and the National Representative of the State of Kuwait to OPEC, Sheikh/ Abdullah Sabah Salem Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah. Al-Mulla praised the decision of the OPEC Plus to continue with the production reduction agreement, which will remain in force until the end of 2023, and this decision supports the balance and stability of the market. He stated that the State of Kuwait is fully committed to the decisions taken by the OPEC Plus, which assures security of supplies in the market. He explained that OPEC Plus is closely monitoring oil market developments and the global economy.
