The head of the economic group of the Supreme Leader's Office stated that Iran has the ability to reach the crude oil daily production capacity of 7.4 million barrels, saying: “We are an oil country, we cannot lag behind the countries that are planning to increase their production capacity.”
Ali Aghamohammadi said on Saturday that if Iran is to develop, oil is the center of it.
He added: “Iran is an oil country and we can reach the daily production capacity of 7,400,000 barrels of crude oil, while the countries around us are planning to increase oil production and increase their production to 10 million barrels per day, we cannot lag behind them.”
The head of the economic group of the Supreme Leader's Office continued: “Therefore, we must act as quickly as possible to develop the oil industry, we need more oil reserves to develop oil, and we must have maximum exploration in this field.”
