PEMEX Regrets the Death of Two Workers Due to an Incident at the Minatitlán Refinery

Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) regrets that two workers lost their lives as a result of the incident that occurred at the Combined Maya plant of the Minatitlán Refinery, in Veracruz.

Of the five who were injured, the two who were seriously ill died; the other three workers continue to be treated at the Hospital Central Sur and Hospital Regional de Minatitlán.

PEMEX expresses its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of the workers who died in the line of duty and reiterates its commitment to determine the causes of the accident at this facility.
