Equinor – Process for Categorisation of Wells in Operation

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Equinor's process for the categorisation of wells in operation.

The audit was conducted in the period 21 October to 21 November 2022.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify the company's process for categorising the well integrity of wells in operation. Assessments of the performance of well barrier elements were a key topic of the audit.

Result
No non-conformities or improvement points were identified during the audit.
