The Supervisory Council has appointed Marlen Tamm, Raine Pajo, Kristjan Kuhi and Kelli Toss-Kaasik as the new additional members of the board of Eesti Energia effective as of 1 April 2023. Andrus Durejko will remain the chairman of the board and the CEO with Marlen Tamm taking on the role of CFO.
The decision was made by the Supervisory Counsel after having considered a variety of candidates. The selected four best suited to take the group forward in the next phase of development.
Marlen Tamm has worked in the group's financial department since 2012. Since 2021 she has been the head of the groups management accounting team. Before joining Eesti Energia, Tamm worked in Swedbank in different positions including being the Head of Baltic Financial IT unit. Tamm will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Raine Pajo has been a member of the board of Eesti Energia since 2006, having worked in several different roles and business units. Most recently, as a member of the board, Pajo was responsible for energy security, asset management, environment, and development projects. In the years 2000-2006, Pajo worked in various roles at Elering (local TSO). Pajo will be responsible for the group's strategic development projects and research activities.
Kristjan Kuhi has previously worked in Ericsson for 13 years in various roles including as a global expert in the fields of energy and IoT. He has been a member of the technical committee of EVS/TK 58 smart grid, a member of the HARNO IT Academy's expert council, a member of the IT faculty council of TalTech, a member of the ICT professional standards working group and a mentor of start-up companies. Kuhi will be responsible for development of the group's energy solutions.
Kelli Toss-Kaasik joined Eesti Energia in 2007 acting in several different roles in the field of personnel management, in 2019-2021 as the leader of the team of personnel partners of the group. From 2021 Toss-Kaasik is the company's customer experience area manager. Toss-Kaasik will be responsible for sales and services of customer solutions.
