Naftogaz Group is working to attract American companies – their technologies, expertise and investments, to increase production in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the Naftogaz Group, Oleksiy Chernyshov, at a meeting with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources, as well as the coordinator of efforts of the G7+ countries to help Ukraine, Geoffrey Payette, today, April 21, 2023, in Washington (USA).
We discussed a number of issues. Starting with Ukraine's new role in Europe's energy security system and ending with the implementation of the corporate governance reform. I am grateful to our colleagues for the constant dialogue and support of Ukraine. I am confident in our further fruitful cooperation", Oleksiy Chernyshov noted after the meeting.
We remind you that Oleksiy Chernyshov is on a working trip to Washington, in particular, there he met with representatives of the leading international law firm Covington & Burling LLP, which presented a strategy to forcibly collect from Russia $5 billion in compensation for the seizure of Naftogaz Group's assets in Crimea.
