Okea – takeover of Brage

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Okea and its management of HSE in respect of the takeover of the Brage field. The audit was conducted on 11 May 2023.

Background
Okea has recently taken over the operatorship of Brage from Wintershall DEA. Okea’s work on establishing a management system, follow-up plans, interactions within the offshore/onshore interface, competence and capacity in the new organisation is important for the objective of continuous improvement of HSE.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that Okea is monitoring regulatory compliance of the process involved in the transfer and operation of Brage.

Result
We did not identify any non-conformities or improvement points in this audit.
