Vår Energi – Jotun FPSO – helideck

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) has carried out an audit of Vår Energi and the helideck on the Jotun FPSO. The audit was conducted on 31 May and 1 June 2023 with assistance from the Civil Aviation Authority Norway.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify the design and outfitting of the helideck on the Jotun FPSO, as well as systems and documentation relating to preparations for the helideck and its operation.

Result
We did not identify any non-conformities or improvement points in this audit.

CAA Norway made observations relating to, among other things, obstructions and the marking of obstacles. These can be found in a separate non-conformity list from CAA Norway, at the bottom of this page.

What happens next?
We have asked Vår Energi for a response to our letter by 11 August 2023.
