The hoisting work of 472 wind turbines in the second phase of the 2 million kilowatt revolutionary old area wind power project of CGN Xing'an League was completed and the equipment officially
entered the commissioning stage.
The CGN Xing'an League 3 million kilowatt revolutionary old area wind power project is located in the right center and front banner of Horqin, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is one of the first batch of large-scale wind power and photovoltaic base construction projects issued by the state focusing on the "Shagohuang" area. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase of the 1 million kilowatt wind power project is located in Horqin Right Front Banner. It has been connected to the grid to generate electricity on June 29, 2022. The annual equivalent full load utilization hours exceed 3,000 hours, and the annual grid-connected electricity exceeds 3 billion. kilowatt hour; the second phase of the 2 million kilowatt wind power project is located in Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner. It is divided into two areas, the south and the north. The north area has completed the wind turbine hoisting on August 31.
After the project is put into operation at full capacity, the annual power generation will reach 10 billion kilowatt-hours, equivalently saving about 2.96 million tons of standard coal consumption and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 8.02 million tons, achieving a win-win situation of ecological and economic benefits.
