Prime Minister Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani holds a meeting on diversifying gas sources

On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to discuss the steps taken to diversify the sources of gas operating power stations in Iraq.

During the meeting, the report of the delegation that recently visited the State of Qatar, headed by the Deputy Minister of Electricity, was discussed.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a fixed system to process imported gas at Al-Faw Port, implemented by the Ministry of Oil within the federal general budget. He directed His Excellency to complete discussions with the Italian consultant for Al-Faw Port to determine the location of this important project, within the port area.
