The Aga-101D well test of Amu Darya Natural Gas Company in Turkmenistan’s Aguere Gas Field yielded over one million cubic meters of high-yield and stable industrial gas flow, producing natural gas 111 10,000 cubic meters per day and 9.2 cubic meters of condensate per day, adding new impetus to the company’s increase in reserves and production.
In order to ensure that the well was put into production smoothly, the Amu Darya Company set up a special work team to implement Party A's double drilling supervision and on-site well follow-up supervision, carefully organized and coordinated, strengthened well control safety upgrade management and control, formulated detailed emergency safeguard measures, and overcame the difficulties in drilling and testing. The difficulty of dealing with a series of issues such as high pressure, high yield, and high temperature in extremely cold weather ensures safe operations.
The Amu Darya Natural Gas Project is the largest overseas natural gas cooperation project in which PetroChina has 100% equity. Since its construction 16 years ago, the two phases of the Amu Darya River project have successively discovered 45 gas fields, forming a pattern of 6 gas areas of 100 billion cubic meters, with an annual natural gas output of 14 billion cubic meters, and a cumulative gas transmission of 143 billion cubic meters to the country. It is China-Turkish Natural Gas. Cooperation continues to contribute new results and add new highlights.
Since the beginning of this year, Amu Darya Company has clarified the overall development strategy of "centering on the center, strengthening the two wings, strengthening the four supports, building a new pattern of China-Turkmen energy cooperation and development, and participating in the great journey of Chinese-style modernization with high-quality development and new results", and actively explores "Dual carbon and three new" business, comprehensive deployment of "1+9" major special projects, ensuring long-term stable production of 14 billion cubic meters of natural gas. So far, the company has achieved natural gas production of 11.3 billion cubic meters this year, laying a solid foundation for stabilizing overseas natural gas resource pools and deepening energy cooperation between China and Turkey.
