KONCAR - Engineering and HEP - Generation signed a contract for the design and construction of Dugopolje solar power plant, which will be located on a surface area of around 200 thousand square meters in the Dugopolje Municipality.
The installed capacity of the solar power plant will be 13.54 MW, and the connection capacity will be 10 MW, while the expected annual power generation of 17.2 million kWh will be sufficient to supply around 6,000 households. Dugopolje solar power plant will consist of 24,624 photovoltaic modules that will be connected to 52 inverters. The contract worth 11.1 million euro was signed in the Krka National Park, at the Jaruga hydro power plant, which marks 120 years of operation this year. As a reminder, KONCAR and HEP have so far successfully collaborated on the construction of solar power plants Vis and Donja Dubrava, as well as Crnkovci, the construction of which is underway.
