Gary and Trey bring decades of experience to their roles and a shared commitment to innovation, growth, and exceptional customer outcomes. As revenue-generation leaders, they will play critical roles supporting W Energy’s goal to be the premier business intelligence software solution across the entire oil and gas value chain.

Gary Napotnik led marketing and business development for four successful global SaaS companies, achieving recurring revenue above $100 million over the last two decades. As the Senior Vice President of Marketing at W Energy, he is dedicated to developing customer-centric marketing strategies and programs that drive market impact and accelerate customer success. Before joining W Energy, Gary was Chief Marketing Officer at Mize/Syncron, Rsam, and NTT Security.
As W Energy’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, Trey Simonton leads all revenue-generating functions, including sales and client renewals. Simonton is a seasoned SaaS go-to-market leader with a proven track record of global results over the last 20 years, building high-performing and mission-driven teams. Prior to his role at W Energy, Trey was the Chief Revenue Officer at MadCap Software and held sales leadership positions at Insight Software, Accruent, and Bazaarvoice. Trey is also a published author and frequent speaker at industry events.
