Oman Signs Oil Supply Deal with ITOCHU

Under the patronage of H.E. Salim Bin Nasser Al-Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the commercial partnership between the Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the Japanese Corporation ITOCHU was held with the aim of highlighting the achievements of Itucho and the growth of its various activities in the Sultanate of Oman since the beginning of this partnership in 1974. The event also highlighted the importance of trade relations between the two countries and their positive impact on the sector, the evolution of the partnership over the past fifty years and the extent of its contribution to enhancing cooperation and exchange of knowledge and technology. During the ceremony, the annual crude oil export contract for 2024 was signed, reflecting the continuation of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector to strengthen a long-term partnership that reflects the commitment of both parties to strengthen economic and trade cooperation and achieve further development and sustainability in the sectors.
