The chemical cryogenic tank farm is located on the northeast side of the chemical industry zone of the Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integrated Transformation and Upgrading Project. The project will build a new 30,000 cubic meter low-temperature ethylene tank, supporting the construction of ground-sealed flares, ethylene compressors, ethylene refrigeration units, low-temperature submersible pumps, booster pumps and other equipment, as well as civil engineering, structure, electrical, automatic control, telecommunications, safety, etc. Related facilities. After it is completed and put into operation, when the downstream device cannot fully receive the ethylene raw material from the ethylene device, the excess ethylene from the ethylene device can be sent to the low-temperature tank for storage, thereby balancing the upstream and downstream supply and ensuring balanced production.
Since the process medium of cryogenic tanks is ethylene and other hydrocarbons, the medium is flammable and explosive, and the degree of toxicity is mild or moderate. This type of storage tank is difficult to construct and has high safety requirements. The project is designed by Huanqiu Engineering Company, and jointly EPC general contracted by Huanqiu Engineering Company and China National Petroleum and Gas Construction Co., Ltd. No. 6. It is planned to be completed on February 28, 2025.
