The groundbreaking ceremony for the first 30,000-ton deck transport ship built by Zhenhua Heavy Industries was held at Qidong Offshore

The 30,000-ton deck transport ship has a total length of about 170 meters, a molded width of 40 meters, a molded depth of 10.5 meters, a maximum draft of 7 meters, a cargo deck length of 140 meters, a maximum speed of 14 knots, a crew of 29 people, and a self-sustaining capacity of 80 days, with a endurance of up to 18,000 nautical miles, and is classified by CCS China Classification Society. The ship can simultaneously load and transport four 1,800-ton container quay cranes or 12,000-ton offshore engineering modules, with a load capacity of more than 26,000 tons, and can undertake various transoceanic heavy-lift offshore engineering transportation tasks.
The company independently completed the basic design and detailed design of the ship. Based on the reconstruction design of the "Zhenhua 34" semi-submersible ship, "Zhenhua 35" ship and "Zhenhua 36" deck transport ship, the cabin layout, Linear design, structural design and system configuration. It also optimized the structural weight, improved the ship's speed and energy efficiency, and effectively reduced the ship's construction and operating costs.
The stern of the ship is equipped with two 3,800-kilowatt fully-rotating pod thrusters, and the bow is equipped with two 1,000-kilowatt bow-side thrusters. Its dynamic positioning capability reaches DP2 level, taking into account the requirements of both ocean navigation and offshore operations. The ship is equipped with an intelligent ship system that meets the requirements of intelligent energy efficiency management, intelligent engine room, intelligent navigation, etc.; the ballast system can meet the requirements of left and right ballast tanks and front and rear ballast tanks according to the loading characteristics, which greatly improves the efficiency of loading and unloading; in The design has been optimized in terms of ship management and use, giving it a clear advantage among ships of the same type, and it is extremely competitive in loading and unloading cargo in Southeast Asian ports with shallow drafts.
After the ship is put into operation, it will be mainly used for the ocean transportation of the company's port machinery products. It can also be used for the shipment and storage of platform modules and large components of large-scale engineering projects such as bridges, docks, wind power, and offshore oil. It is the company's participation in the ocean engineering construction journey. The important ships on board are of great significance to optimizing the company's offshore engineering equipment structure and improving its offshore engineering construction capabilities.
