JA Solar Signed Contract on a Centralized Procurement Project

Recently, China Power Construction New Energy Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Power Construction New Energy Group") grandly held the "2023 Photovoltaic Module Procurement Project Signing Ceremony" in Beijing. Li Dong, Vice President of JA Solar Technology, Zhang Fenghai, Assistant President, Li Yuejun, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director and General Manager of Power Construction New Energy Group, Cheng Yongjing, Deputy General Manager and Secretary of the Board of Directors, Wan Mingang, Deputy Director of the Equipment and Materials Procurement Center of China Power Construction Group and other representatives from both parties They jointly attended the ceremony and officially signed the second batch of centralized procurement projects of China Power Construction in the third quarter of 2023.

A total of 7GW of photovoltaic modules were tendered for this centralized procurement, and JA Solar Technology won the bid for package two, bringing the total winning scale to 1.5GW. This is the second time that JA Solar has reached cooperation with Power Construction New Energy Group after winning the bid for 500MW modules in the centralized procurement in the second quarter of this year.

Regarding this signing, Li Dong first expressed his gratitude to Power Construction New Energy Group for its trust in JA Solar Technology. He said that at the beginning of this year, JA Solar Technology was shortlisted as an excellent supplier for the "26GW centralized procurement project of China Power Construction Co., Ltd.", thus starting a good cooperation between the two parties. It is hoped that through this signing, the strategic cooperative relationship between the two parties can be deepened again and the achievement of each other's strategic goals can be promoted. JA Solar will give full play to its advantages in products, technology, and resources, continue to deeply participate in the development of Power Construction New Energy Group, realize complementary advantages, work together to seize opportunities, meet challenges, and achieve win-win cooperation to jointly contribute to the green and low-carbon society. Inject new momentum into development and the realization of the goal of "carbon neutrality".

For a long time, JA Solar has maintained a good cooperative relationship with Power China, signed strategic cooperation agreements with many companies under Power China, and has been firmly supporting Power China's business development and project construction on a global scale. For example, the CEME1 432MW photovoltaic project in Chile, the 189MW photovoltaic project in central Myanmar, the Youting semi-immersed 500MW photovoltaic project in Vietnam, and the Shazhou 110MW photovoltaic project in Dunhuang City are all the results of cooperation between the two parties.

This time JA Solar Technology and Power Construction New Energy Group have reached cooperation on centralized procurement matters, pushing the cooperation between the two parties to a new level and jointly promoting the high-quality development of the new energy industry.
