• Gas Sales Agreement with Alinta Energy executed for 3.4 PJ of gas delivered into the Parmelia Gas Pipeline from February 2024 for ~2 years.
• The Walyering gas field reached nameplate capacity of 33 TJ/d and 265 bbls/d of condensate on the 24th of December 2023.

Strike Energy Limited provides an update on the Walyering gas field production and marketing from within the 100% owned and operated production licence L23.

Alinta Gas Sales Agreement
Strike and Alinta Energy WA Pty Ltd have entered into a firm 100% take or pay gas sales agreement for a total of 3.4 PJ delivered into the Parmelia Gas Pipeline over ~2 years starting in February 2024.

Walyering Production
Strike successfully delivered 33 TJ from the Walyering gas field into the Western Australian domestic gas market on the 24th of December 2023. This operational milestone follows several periods of downstream maintenance on the Parmelia Gas Pipeline, which limited deliveries into Strike’s existing marketing arrangements. Upstream performance from the Walyering gas field has been in line with expectations, and all reservoirs have now been opened and the original downhole gauges retrieved.

These operational successes demonstrate Strike’s proficiency in integrated project delivery where Strike will look to further exploit these in-house capabilities at other Jurassic wet-gas discoveries, such as the 100% owned Ocean Hill, following successful appraisal.

Ongoing deliveries at production rates above firm contracted volumes remain subject to customer nominations and further gas marketing activities.

Strike’s Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Nicholls, said:
“Reaching nameplate capacity at Walyering within 90-days of start-up of the facility marks a significant achievement for Strike’s project team. With the confidence that Walyering can operate steadily at these rates or higher, Strike will increase its gas marketing activities, which starts with this additional strip of firm offtake to Alinta Energy”.
