Puma Energy Mozambique Completes Acquisition of AirBP’s Aviation Fuel Assets

Leading aviation fuel supplier, Puma Energy Mozambique, completes its acquisition of AirBP’s aviation fuel assets in Mozambique following approval from the Competition Regulation Authority.

The acquisition will boost Puma Energy’s Aviation presence across seven major airports in Mozambique, in line with the company’s strategic ambition to focus growth on high potential downstream markets through prudent investment.

All of AirBP’s assets in Mozambique transferred to Puma Energy Mozambique meaning the company will service customers through facilities and equipment at airports in: Maputo, Beira, Nampula, Tete, Pemba, Quilimane and Vilanculos.

Puma Energy Aviation will continue to invest in training and equipment to ensure airports in Mozambique remain some of the best served in Africa. The facilities will continue to operate to the highest industry IATA and JIG standards. Puma Energy’s commitment to safety, reliability and efficient service will continue.

Twenty-six employees transferred and have been fully onboarded to Puma Energy Aviation as part of the transaction.
