Iraq to Sustain the Production and Export of Crude Oil

Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani, said that the Ministry is working according to a vision and strategy aimed at sustaining and increasing national production of crude oil, petroleum products and gas investment, to meet local consumption, in addition to maximizing and enhancing the strategic storage of petroleum products, and stabilizing oil export rates. To global markets.

This came during his visit to the technical department at the ministry’s center.

The Minister pointed out the importance of integrated coordination of the sectors, production, refinery, gas, and distribution, and work by the concerned authorities to improve performance to achieve the ministry’s goals and plans.

Emphasizing the Ministry's keenness to support the public and private sectors by meeting the needs of the industrial and agricultural sectors and equipping them with various types of fuel to sustain the production process.

The Director General of the Technical Department, Mr. Hassanein Abdel Latif, gave a briefing on the work and tasks of the department. The Minister’s inspection tour included meeting with a number of officials and employees working in the relevant departments and divisions. ?
