Técnicas Reunidas increases its commitment to sustainability and extends it to the supply chain. For that and due to its commitment to the Global Compact, its suppliers
will be trained in this field.
Since 2011 Técnicas Reunidas has been a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, accepting its 10 principles related to human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. In this way, the goal is to advance and achieve social objectives, in addition to the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Now, Técnicas Reunidas’ commitment with this organization continues, and it is going to provide sustainability training to its supply chain, offering trainings in the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs to the SMEs with which it operates, both Spanish and international.
For six months, Técnicas Reunidas’ SME suppliers will have online access to a program in Spanish, English or Portuguese that will include four modules:
- General aspects of sustainability.
- Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- The Ten Principles of the Global Compact.
- Internationalization of the company, incentives and reporting in sustainability field.
With this initiative, Técnicas Reunidas continues to fulfil its commitment to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth), 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) and 17 (Partnerships to achieve the goals).
