Iraq Minister of Oil Receives the Governor of Dhi Qar

The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to support service and social projects in Dhi Qar Governorate, in addition to the Ministry’s plans to develop oil projects and related industries. This came during his meeting with the Governor of Dhi Qar, Mr. Mortada Abboud Al-Ibrahimi.

Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil, Mr. Hayan Abdul Ghani, said The Ministry pays great attention to developing oil fields, investing in associated gas, and developing refining, petrochemical, and other industries, noting the importance of this in enhancing the economic reality of the governorate.
